Hi y'all !! Leslie here, otherwise known as lp. That's little l and little p. A little known fact is that every time I type my initials the auto correct feature tries to force me to use capital L and little p. That can be very frustrating some days. Most of you probably know this but since I am trying to think of things to write I will also mention that I love love love to dig in the dirt. Gardening is my therapy.

My name is Patty Stanley. I am married and have two children. My oldest son is 23 and going to college. My youngest son is 17 and is going to be a Senior. I have been in education for 19 years. I have taught everything from Pre-Kindergarten to High School. My husband and I recently moved to Newkirk. We are really excited about the change and challenges that the new school year will bring.
One of my hobbies is scuba diving. My favorite place to scuba dive is Cozumel. The water is as clear as a bell and the animals are amazing to see. The night diving is the best. All of the cool animals come out at night and the colors are amazing. I also love to watch my son play sports. It's hard to find time for hobbies when you have a student in high school. I would like to retire on a lake somewhere and do a lot of relaxing and reading.

Hey! My name is Misty Sewell and this is my fifth year at teaching 2nd grade at Newkirk. I have a 4 yr. old daughter named Annalee. She will be starting Pre-K this year at Newkirk. When I am not working in my classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!! :)
