Getting Started
Click on "New Page."
When prompted to add a "Page Name," type in your first name, underscore, and 2010. Please do not use your last name due to security reasons.
EXAMPLE: Melissa_2010
Select "Create."
Task
Compose a paragraph in which you give information about yourself -- little known facts, hobbies, sports, likes/dislikes, funny memories, first job, etc., OR a paragraph in which you give your opinion about a popular movie, song, book, sports team, etc.
Add a widget to your wikispace by clicking on the T.V. icon on the floating toolbar at the top of the page. Select "video" from the left-hand side menu. Click on the link to YouTube and search for a video related to something you mentioned in your paragraph. Copy the embed link (NOT the URL) and paste it into the box on your wikispace. Finally, select "Save."
Use the discussion tab to comment on someone's wiki.
Don't forget to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!
If you need to make changes, click on "Edit" next to the pencil icon. Be sure to save your changes.
