Hola! Mi nombre es Melissa. As you can see, I speak a little Spanish (emphasis on "little"). My passions are watching movies, traveling, reading, and writing. Since my father was active duty Navy, I lived in Texas, Connecticut, Maryland, and Arizona before moving to Oklahoma once he retired. While teaching, I followed in my father's footsteps and enlisted in the Navy Reserve as a journalist. The military enabled me to travel to four European countries, Australia, and Hawaii.
